Qasr Al-Diyafa in Najaf has operated from this building since early 2025. Its previous building was demolished for the expansion of the holy shrine of Imam Ali, so the management bought this building, which had opened in 2021 as Manahil Royal Hotel, and carried on under the name Qasr Al-Diyafa. Pilgrims who know the old Qasr Al-Diyafa should note that the hotel is now in a different building and location.
It stands on Zain al-Abidin Street, near Qasr Al-Nubalaa, Al-Nubalaa 2 and Anis Al-Nufus hotels, and after Qasr Al-Dur and Jar Al-Amir it is the premium hotel closest to the shrine.
Under the new management the building was extensively reworked: a floor was added and the restaurant moved up to it, and the roof became a coffee shop. Both opened in 2026, and the restaurant serves three meals a day all year round. The floor that used to hold the restaurant is being turned into new rooms and will be ready soon.
Standard rooms, large suites and good service, at a lower price than Qasr Al-Dur, have made it one of pilgrims’ first choices.
