  • Because the building is old, problems such as broken showers and faulty taps can be found in the room bathrooms.
  • The buffet has less variety and lower quality than at other hotels.

About Dur Qasr Al-Kadhimiya Hotel

Dur Qasr Al-Kadhimiya is one of Karbala’s premium hotels and has served pilgrims of Imam Husayn since 2014. It is on Al-Muheet Street, next to Almas Hotel, about 450 metres from Bab Al-Ras of the shrine.

Its quality has declined over the years, and newer hotels closer to the shrine such as Almas and Naeem Al-Warith have drawn guests away. Even so, its large rooms and fairly short walk to the shrine still make it a reasonable choice in Karbala.
