About Mirage Hotel

Mirage is a new four-star hotel in Karbala, opened in August 2024 in time for Arbaeen. It is on Bab Baghdad Street, about 270 metres (a 4-minute walk) from the shrine of Abbas and about 450 metres (6 minutes) from the shrine of Imam Husayn: a good choice if you want to spend most of your time near the shrine of Abbas.

Mirage has 9 floors, classic architecture and about 100 beds. Most rooms have street-facing windows and daylight, and some look out on the shrine of Abbas.

The restaurant on the ninth floor serves an open buffet, and the shrine of Abbas can be seen from the dining room too.

Every room has a TV, kettle and tea set, Western toilet, toiletries and towels. Rooms also have an ironing board and iron, something few hotels in Iraq offer.
