North side of Bayn al-Haramayn; the closest hotel in Karbala to the shrines of Imam Husayn and Abbas.
Fourth floor overlooking Bayn al-Haramayn, renovated in 2026; unlike Shatha Al-Haramayn, which serves only breakfast.
Several rooms were merged in the 2021 renovation, and about half the rooms have windows facing Bayn al-Haramayn.
Noor Al-Zahra is the closest hotel in Karbala to the shrines of Imam Husayn and Abbas, on the north side of Bayn al-Haramayn. It was renovated in 2021 and reopened with premium service; during the work some rooms were merged to make larger, more comfortable spaces.
Its unique location is its greatest strength, and since the renovation it has become a rival to Naeem Al-Warith. Guests need less than two minutes to reach the shrines of Imam Husayn and Abbas.
The ground floor holds reception and a husayniyya. The lobby is on the first floor and the rooms on the second and third. On the mezzanine above the lobby, tea and coffee are served around the clock. About half the rooms have windows facing Bayn al-Haramayn. The restaurant on the fourth floor was renovated in 2026 and looks out over Bayn al-Haramayn and the shrines of Imam Husayn and Abbas.
Alongside Naeem Al-Warith and Shatha Al-Haramayn, Noor Al-Zahra is one of the closest places to stay to Bayn al-Haramayn. The key difference: Shatha Al-Haramayn serves only breakfast, while Noor Al-Zahra’s restaurant is open all day.
